Job Summary
Supervise children at all times while maintaining appropriate ratios and ensuring a clean, secure classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate, hands-on learning experiences including art, literacy, sensory play, and outdoor activities. Establish consistent routines, foster an inclusive atmosphere, and document each child's unique developmental progress. Build trusting relationships with families by providing daily updates and addressing concerns professionally. Complete accurate documentation, follow Montana childcare licensing regulations, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Work closely with fellow teachers and leadership to support center-wide events and required training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Ability to pass required background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
