Job Summary
Childcare Teacher (Level 2) at KFICCC in Silver Spring, MD. Plans and implements age-appropriate curriculum, supervises classroom staff (Associate Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Substitutes, Student Teachers, Volunteers), and collaborates with leadership to evaluate staff. Promotes inclusive interactions, supports children with diverse needs, and ensures active participation in goals and daily living activities. Maintains health and safety standards, supports documentation and recordkeeping, and pursues state credentials with ongoing professional development. Requires an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development and one year of relevant experience; must complete pre-employment medical exam and TB testing; strong English communication and computer skills; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk regularly.
