Job Summary
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children while maintaining open communication with parents about daily milestones. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines. Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies in an early education center. Full-time positions are available with an hourly rate between $23.00 and $26.00. Candidates must pass background checks and meet state and company education and experience requirements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education
- Study plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Pass required state and company background checks
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- At least two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool
