Job Summary
Conduct high-quality early learning experiences supporting children's physical, social-emotional, and cognitive growth using the HighScope curriculum. Build positive relationships with children and families while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Wisconsin DCF licensing regulations and NAEYC standards. Supervise children indoors and outdoors, actively monitoring safety and responding to developmental needs through observation and intentional teaching. Utilize classroom technology for documentation and assessment to guide individualized learning plans. Collaborate with colleagues and partners to uphold inclusive practices and agency mission values. Maintain dependable attendance and complete required background checks and certifications including Pediatric First Aid and CPR/AED.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered with or eligible to register with The Registry, Wisconsin's Recognition System for the Early Childhood Education and Care Profession.
- Lead Educators must meet the education requirements established by DCF and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
- Must obtain and maintain all required certifications and training, including Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED, Abusive Head Trauma Prevention, Child Abuse and Neglect Mandated Reporter Training, and other training required by DCF, NAEYC, or Encompass.
- Prior experience in an early childhood education setting required.

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HighScope or Conscious Discipline preferred.
