Child Care Teacher

Bright Horizons is seeking a Full-Time Child Care Teacher to lead hands-on activities for toddlers, maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones, and ensure a safe, clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines. The role requires 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED, state and company background checks, and either related college coursework or a CDA (degree preferred). Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required; 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care/preschool is preferred, with associate or bachelor’s degrees in early education or related fields also preferred. This in-person position is based in Grand Rapids, MI, with hourly pay between $17.50 and $21.35 and a benefits package. Responsibilities include creating engaging activities, documenting children’s milestones, and ensuring safety and compliance per Bright Horizons policies and client site requirements.
