Job Summary
Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children while maintaining open communication with parents about daily milestones. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines. Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Work in an early education/preschool child care center to support children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Collaborate with a dynamic team to create engaging curriculum that shapes future learners.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- pass required state and company background checks
- meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
- CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field
