Job Summary
Provide personal care to children (incl. toileting/diaper changing), supervise in groups up to 15, implement play-based learning per YMCA Curriculum, and maintain positive communication with families and staff. Create an inclusive environment that supports diverse needs, adhere to schedule/ratio requirements, remain flexible with routines, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires first aid/CPR, Vulnerable Sector Check, immunizations, and availability for the specified shifts; opportunity to contribute to healthy, connected communities through child care programming at YMCA locations in Bradford, Innisfil, and Lefroy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Current Standard/Intermediate First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification OR completion within first 90 days
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
- Up-to-date immunizations or equivalent per local public health and Child Care Early Years Act
- Ongoing availability as per specified shifts
