Job Summary
Child Care Provider/Teacher responsible for supervising and educating children in Early Childhood Education settings. Duties include planning activities aligned with child development, creating monthly overviews and weekly lesson plans, supervising children during observation/practicum and class time, ensuring no unattended moments, maintaining clean and safe environments (sanitizing furniture and surfaces), serving meals and snacks, coordinating with administration for supplies, participating in parent conferences, pursuing ongoing professional development, and modeling appropriate behavior and grammar. The role requires collaboration with the director/assistant director, adherence to assigned hours, and the ability to assist with program improvement and inclusion efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (or appropriate field) and at least two years of experience as a teacher's aide or related work
- Candidate should be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass criminal history and child abuse background check
