Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans while providing attentive care, including feeding and diaper changing. Set up and assist with lunches, engage children in reading and educational activities, and organize various child care programs. Maintain a clean and safe environment, supervise children, and communicate effectively with parents about their child's day. Work independently and as part of a team to build positive relationships with families and staff. Full-time 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM with competitive salary based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children in a childcare center
- Hep A, TB test screening, and a physical (within the last 12 months)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must meet all state and licensing requirements for childcare staff
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
