Child Care Provider - Beyond the Bell

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the On-site supervisor. Guide independent work, enrichment work, and remedial work, distribute and collect workbooks, and check notebooks or correct papers as assigned. Assist with supervision during emergency drills, play periods, and field trips, and support lunch, snack, and cleanup routines. Operate classroom equipment, maintain bulletin boards, and participate in oral communication activities such as reading aloud or story-telling. Serve as the chief source of information and help to any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher. Maintain high ethical behavior and confidentiality regarding student information, and participate in in-service training as assigned. Candidates must be 16 years old.
