Job Summary
Supervises and cares for children in a small childcare setting, including creating schedules for staff, greeting children and parents, assisting with daily tasks, organizing playtime and activities, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. Requires the ability to communicate effectively with parents, manage supervisory duties, and adhere to shift hours (various 4-hour and after-school blocks). Certification in infant/child CPR, First Aid and AED is required to perform this role; physical demands include lifting up to 30 pounds and standing/walking during shifts.

- Capable of taking, listening, watching, and interacting with various age groups of children for various periods of time.
- Ability to anticipate and prevent potential problems.
- Appropriately handle disruptive children.
- Maintain Patience and energy throughout a shift.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents/members, children, co-workers, and management.
