Job Summary
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment. Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum, developing engaging classroom activities based on children's interests and learning styles. Partner with families to support each child's growth, communicating effectively regarding milestones and daily progress. Collaborate with support staff and leadership to maintain classroom ratios and flow, helping create a home-away-from-home atmosphere that inspires creativity and social-emotional growth. Monday through Friday only; no evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Career Pathway Level 3
- Must meet all state requirements for child care employment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
