Job Summary
Provide safety and supervision for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards. Curate programs and activities based on children's interests, maintain a warm and clean environment, and partner with families to create individualized care and education plans. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress. Work within regular operating hours as a valued member of the BrightPath Kids team, supporting long-term career goals through professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Head Teacher certification
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
