Job Summary
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years while creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Develop engaging classroom activities based on children's interests, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and partner with families to support each child's growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding milestones and collaborate with support staff to maintain classroom ratios and smooth transitions. Inspire creativity, confidence, and social-emotional growth in young learners within a warm, safe, and engaging space aligned with NAEYC standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Career Pathway Level 3
- Must meet all state requirements for child care employment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
