Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks through 12 years in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum. Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles, maintaining a warm, clean environment that permits exploration. Partner with families to create care and education plans, providing effective communication regarding each child's progress. Work within regular operating hours as a valued member of the BrightPath Kids team, offering a home away from home for families.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility
