Job Summary
Provide a home away from home for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom, ensuring their safety and supervision. Create developmentally appropriate curriculum and curate programs based on children's interests while maintaining a warm, clean environment. Partner with families to create care plans and provide effective communication regarding their child's progress. Work side-by-side with teachers and families according to NAEYC guidelines. Full-time employment with no evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses OR Bachelor's Degree required
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
