Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards. Curate programs and activities based on children's interests, maintain a warm and clean environment for exploration, and partner with families to create individualized care and education plans. Provide effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress. Full-time employment with no evenings or weekends; pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility
