Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 4 years and older in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NAEYC standards. Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles to maintain a warm, clean environment that permits exploration. Partner with families to create individualized care and education plans, providing effective communication regarding their child's progress. Work within regular operating hours to support a home-away-from-home atmosphere for infants and toddlers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Career Pathway Level 3
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
