Child Care Lead Teacher

Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in an assigned classroom while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards. Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles, maintaining a warm, clean environment that permits exploration. Partner with families to create individualized care and education plans, providing effective communication regarding their child's progress. Work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Full-time 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Head Teacher certification
- 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
