Job Summary
Educate and supervise children in a play-based, developmentally appropriate laboratory early care and education environment. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all the children. Instruct them in activities designed to promote social-emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Serve as a professional model and mentor to ECE program students. Meet all requirements of NC DCDEE rules and regulations, NAEYC accreditation standards, and Buncombe County Schools operational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or child Development (B-K) or related field
- 1-3 years of verifiable experience in a licensed childcare facility or NC-PreK classroom
- Meets NC DCDEE rules and regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards
- Residency license eligibility in North Carolina
