Job Summary
Cook at Bright Horizons plans and prepares balanced, family‐style meals and snacks for children in an early education/preschool setting, ensuring nutritional guidelines are followed and daily attendance counts are considered. Maintains a clean, safe kitchen per health procedures; manages inventory and places orders with approved vendors; partners with center staff to support smooth daily meal service. Requires state/company background checks, 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, and a food handler certification within 30 days of hire; schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 am–4:00 pm; in‐person at the Bright Horizons center in Baltimore, MD. Required Qualifications
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
- Having or obtaining a food handler certification within 30 days of hire is required

- Food service experience in a childcare center, school cafeteria, commercial kitchen, or high‐volume food service setting is required
