Job Summary
Oversee programs and activities in multiple classrooms while creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards. Mentor teachers and assistant teachers within centers, curating programs based on children's interests and learning styles. Partner with families to create individual care and education plans, providing effective communication regarding each child's progress. Work side-by-side with staff and parents to provide a home-away-from-home environment for children in care. Full-time role with no evenings or weekends; sign-on bonus available for EEC certified teachers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR EEC State of MA Teacher certification
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility
