Child Care Center Director

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Meskwaki child care facility, including maintaining adequate supplies, developing annual budgets, and implementing education curricula that meet federal, state, and tribal standards. Recruit, supervise, and coordinate training for all staff while ensuring appropriate licensure and maintaining eligibility for the state's Quality Rating System and Child Care Assistance program. Manage staffing levels and scheduling to ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children and families. Compile data reports, assist with classroom and kitchen duties when necessary, and attend regional or national meetings as required. Maintain positive relationships with parents and employees through effective communication while ensuring all program policies and cultural beliefs are respected.
