Job Summary
Lead hiring and create a motivating, inclusive work environment that retains staff while collaborating with leadership to evaluate and ensure program quality standards. Manage enrollment, marketing, billing, and accounts payable, ensuring budget compliance and building strong relationships with families, clients, staff, and licensing bodies. Provide in-person supervision of care delivery and employees throughout the center, including temporary coverage for breaks or absences, while communicating proactively with all stakeholders. This role requires a mixture of office, computer, and phone-based work alongside direct family interactions in various center areas.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
- Candidates must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Three units in Early Childhood Education Administration
- Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development
- Twelve semester units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum
- Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, education, or child development related field
- At least four years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings
- Experience in both teaching (infant, toddler, or preschool) and administration of a child care center
- Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards
- This position requires in-person work in the Rancho Mirage, CA area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
