Job Summary
Lead the center with overall daily management, recruiting and retaining high-performing staff, and driving enrollment growth and retention. Ensure compliance with Ohio licensing regulations to avoid serious and moderate risks while maintaining Step Up To Quality Gold rating standards. Oversee programming from infant through school-age and foster relationships with families and the community. Bring your own proven leadership team if applicable. This role supports Horizon Education Centers' mission to provide high-quality early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks to 14 across 14 expanding locations in Lorain County.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Center Director experience in a childcare center
- Minimum Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Proven success in enrollment growth, staff leadership, and compliance
- Strong child care leadership success
