Job Summary
Prepare home-style, nutritional meals for children and staff in a childcare center, adapting menus within school budgets and regulatory requirements. Create meal plans aligned with the school's menu and USDA/licensing/health department regulations, maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, and assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater. Follow the daily menu provided by the Director and ensure meals and snacks meet schedules while upholding health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility, preferred.
- A willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations.
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
