Job Summary
Cook at a childcare center responsible for overall food preparation for enrolled children, develop home-style, nutritious meals within the school menu and budget while complying with state and federal requirements, follow daily menus aligned with USDA licensing and health department regulations, maintain inventory of food and supplies, order as needed, and assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
- Flexible hours/schedule of work
