Job Summary
Plan and prepare balanced, family-style meals and snacks following approved menus, nutritional guidelines, and daily attendance counts. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by adhering to food safety, allergy-management, sanitation, and health procedures. Manage food and supply inventory, place orders through approved vendors, and partner with center staff to support smooth daily meal service. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with no nights or weekends. This role supports children's health, growth, and learning within Bright Horizons' early education centers.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- Must pass required state and company background checks
- Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
- Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Must obtain a food handler certification within 30 days of hire
