Job Summary
Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff in a childcare center, following USDA/licensing/health department regulations. Create home-style, nutritious meal plans within the school menu and budget. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. Follow daily menus provided by the Director. Assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater. Focus on health and safety and ensure meals meet regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility, preferred.
- A willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations.
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work.
