Job Summary
Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff in a childcare center. Create home-style, nutritious meal plans within the school menu and budget, while following state and federal requirements. Follow daily menus provided by the Director, incorporating USDA/licensing/health department regulations. Maintain inventory of food and supplies, order as needed, and assist in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater.
Required Qualifications
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all current state and local regulations
- Flexibility as to hours and schedule of work
