Job Summary
Care for children ages 3 months to 12 years while their parents use the facility. Prioritize safety and follow guidelines for child supervision and emergency procedures. Engage with children effectively using an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality. Maintain CPR certification for adults, children, and infants, including AED, within 30 days of hire and keep it current throughout employment. This role supports Villa Sport's mission to create energizing environments where fitness, family, and fun come together at resort-style clubs across multiple states.
Required Qualifications
- CPR certification for adults/children/infants/AED required within 30 days of hire date and must remain current throughout employment
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to prioritize safety and follow guidelines for child supervision and emergency procedures
- Frequently required to climb, walk, bend or balance and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must occasionally sit for extended periods and regularly walk around the facility
- Must frequently move 10 pounds and in the event of an emergency lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, camp, recreational, or educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children effectively
- Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for working with children
