Job Summary
Assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, loving learning environment for children aged six weeks to five years by implementing program goals and developing language, motor, social, and cognitive skills. Supervise the class during the Lead Teacher's absence, administer medication per parents' instructions, and handle accidents responsibly. Feed and change babies and toddlers, perform assigned cleaning duties, and maintain communication with parents through daily activity reports and morning greetings. Meet children's physical and emotional needs while attending periodic staff meetings. Available for a full-time 9-hour shift from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience with children
- Must be available to work a full-time shift between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday-Friday, working a 9-hour shift with an hour unpaid lunch break
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Current CDA/AA in Early Childhood Development
