Job Summary
Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks through 12 years while assisting teachers with classroom instruction. Decorate inside and outside classrooms as needed to maintain a warm, clean environment that permits children to grow and explore. Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities and provide effective communication with parents regarding their child. Work within regular operating hours without evenings or weekends. No classroom experience required; paid training is provided on all classroom procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment
