Job Summary
Welcome expectant mothers to OB intake appointments and guide them through one-on-one prenatal instruction while facilitating weekly Centering Pregnancy classes and quarterly Parenting Poppas programs. Coordinate group prenatal visits, maternal postpartum, and pediatric newborn appointments across main and satellite FQHC locations, ensuring seamless scheduling and attendance at required events. Research, synthesize, and maintain evidence-based curriculum aligned with Lamaze and WHO breastfeeding standards, applying learner-centered strategies to teach relaxation and labor coping techniques to diverse learners. Prepare annual reports and maintain program materials to support family milestones. Full-time role requiring RN, LPN, MA, or relevant degree with Centering Facilitator training; Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility and travel to satellite clinics.
Required Qualifications
- RN, LPN, MA, or completed degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Doula, or Midwifery
- high school diploma
- Successful completion of Centering Facilitator training
- relevant life experience in pregnancy, prenatal care, parenting, and health education
- in-depth knowledge of reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, breastfeeding, infant development, and infant care
- evidence-based methods grounded in frameworks such as Lamaze and the World Health Organization's breastfeeding standards
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00pm with flexibility
- No Remote Option currently
- Required Travel: To satellite clinics within the Amplify Health System
