Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one behavioral intervention with children facing mental and behavioral health challenges, utilizing trauma-informed approaches to support daily living skills and emotional regulation. Implement individualized behavioral plans through role-modeling, coaching, and redirection while creating engaging activities based on each client's interests. Work 3–5 times weekly during afternoons, evenings, and weekends, adhering to family routines and providing safety holds when necessary. Maintain First Aid/CPR and CPI certifications, navigate stairs and lift up to 100 pounds, and commute up to 30 miles to client homes. Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and access to a smartphone and laptop.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma
- Must be willing and able to perform safety holds on clients at immediate risk for harming themselves or others, following paid training
- Must be able to navigate stairs, climb, twist, bend, and lift up to 100 pounds
- Must have smart phone (Android/iPhone) and laptop/computer willing to use for work purposes
- Willing to commute up to 30 miles to a client's home
- Valid driver's license

- CPI certification
