Job Summary
RBT at Lighthouse Autism Center provides center-based ABA therapy one-on-one with children (18 months to school age). Collaborate with clinicians to implement custom therapy plans, utilize play-based and naturalistic methods, track progress, and help children progress toward educational/social goals. Paid training to obtain RBT certification with career-level advancement, tuition reimbursement toward masters, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k), generous PTO and holidays, and a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 40+ hours). Requirements include 18+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to undergo a background check and drug test. Location: Waterloo, IA, US; in-person role.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required
- Experience working with children preferred but not required
- Background check and drug test at time of hire
- Lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs; ability to move and sustain physical activity as described
