Job Summary
You will work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy, following personalized treatment plans and collecting simple session data. You will help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities, stay active and engaged during therapy, maintain a clean and safe therapy environment, and collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow. The position offers paid training and full coverage of the RBT certification, with guaranteed full-time hours and growth opportunities, located in Vernon Hills, IL. Start date is immediate, with scheduling Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and optional Saturdays based on patient needs. You’ll receive a first raise after earning your RBT certification, and benefits include health insurance, dental and vision, PTO/holidays, and other perks.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
- Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
- Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed
