Job Summary
Follow personalized treatment plans and collect session data while working one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy. Help kids learn through movement, reading, and hands-on activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout active sessions. Collaborate with a supportive team to help children build communication, social, and independent skills. No prior experience is necessary; paid training and full coverage of Registered Behavior Technician certification are provided. A bachelor's degree is required, along with the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maintain an active pace. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with optional Saturdays based on patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
- Able to maintain an active pace while working with young children
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
- Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed
Desired Qualifications
- Childcare experience such as nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, camp counselor or tutor
- Mental health roles such as QMHP or behavioral health technician
- Paraprofessionals, caregivers, and life skills assistants
- Psychology, Child Development, or any Health Sciences degrees
