Job Summary
Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one behavioral intervention for children with autism under supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, and using evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors. Must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Comprehensive training provided; role emphasizes hands-on work with children and may involve standing, walking, and moving throughout activities. Pay ranges from $19-$24 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within Centria Autism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- 18+ years of age
