Job Summary
Behavior Technician role to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one with children with autism to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Training is provided; must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The job involves standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks, with a weight-bearing requirement up to 50 pounds. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a pediatric setting at Centria Autism.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- 18+ years of age
