Job Summary
Youth-focused program coordinator role within Army National Guard Child and Youth Services. Oversees planning and delivery of youth programs, recruits and trains volunteers, builds partnerships with youth service organizations, develops and implements youth curriculum, designs marketing materials, and prepares program reports. Requires experience with youth development, ability to manage multiple priorities and events, data analysis, and familiarity with military communities. Travel, evenings, and weekends are possible; must have a valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship, and pass background checks. Position involves collaboration with state program leadership and managing volunteers to meet program metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of college and relevant work experience are required.
- Youth programming and development experience; ability to pass state and federal background checks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and design software/websites.
- Ability to support programs that may require evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship.
- Occasional travel within state, nationally, and evenings/weekends.
