Job Summary
Clinical Supervisors at Heartland Family Service are experienced clinicians responsible for promoting the professional development and practice of agency therapists, maintaining a client caseload while supervising staff. Duties include providing clinical support to outpatient service clinicians, conducting hiring and performance evaluations, offering supervisory guidance, ensuring compliance with third-party payer requirements, and delivering educational workshops. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, five years of therapeutic experience, and independent licensure in Iowa and Nebraska. The position requires a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and collaborative practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Five years of experience as a therapist
- Independent Licensure in the State of Iowa and Nebraska or Independent License Eligible (LMHC, LISW or LMFT) required
- Valid driver’s license/ acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience of multi-faceted team preferred
- LDAC/CDAC/IADC preferred
