Job Summary
This role requires a compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services including medication evaluations, evidence-based treatments, and comprehensive care collaboration. Responsibilities involve preparing documentation for certifications, attending court for involuntary treatment requests, and participating in multidisciplinary groups to improve clinical practices. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience, appropriate medical licenses, and a focus on both adult and child psychiatry.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Colorado
- M.D. or D.O. degree (or international equivalent) with ACGME-accredited residency training program in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry
- DEA Certification required
- ABPN board certification is desirable but not required (must be board-eligible)
- Prior experience working with adults or children in an outpatient/inpatient setting preferred
