Job Summary

Child & Adolescent Therapist responsible for delivering outpatient, individual and family therapy to children aged 5-17 within a collaborative multidisciplinary mental health team. Responsibilities include conducting culturally sensitive assessments, developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; participating in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning; ensuring timely billing and documentation; collaborating with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and other clinicians to provide holistic care; and upholding ethical practice and confidentiality. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, experience with children and families, licensure requirements or provisional licensure per state regulation, ongoing professional development, and strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and families.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience in working with children and families
  • Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
  • Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
  • Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including free supervision and continuing education
  • Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
