CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST

Job Summary
Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic mental illnesses in children and adolescents. Responsibilities include performing psychiatric assessments, developing treatment plans, and engaging in case management services. Provide supportive therapy and guidance, monitor patients' responses to treatment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Maintain medical knowledge through continued education and participate in quality improvement processes.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in psychiatric care in an inpatient or outpatient setting as a resident or staff physician
- Completion of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy (MD/DO) from an accredited University
- Completion of an accredited-ACGME residency program in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and/or Adult Psychiatry
- Must be Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
- Must hold a current license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
- Must have a current, valid, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License
- CPR/First Aid certified
