Job Summary
Simultaneously serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in acute crisis and determine the most appropriate level of care. Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders while collaborating with onsite professionals and partner healthcare teams. Receive 24/7 support from an access center for triage and case management throughout your shift. Utilize advanced technical proficiency with multiple EMRs, Windows systems, and telehealth hardware to provide measurement-based, culturally humble episodic care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients across various states. Obtain additional state licensure and DEA support from Array, which covers costs and reimbursement. Work remotely from a private office space with a schedule starting at 24 hours per week, progressing to full benefits eligibility at 30 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
- Unrestricted, independent licensure
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
- Treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings
- Communicating with patients from various backgrounds and providing culturally competent care
- Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time
- Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (Laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software over several years of experience in telehealth
