Job Summary
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist needed for locum-tenens coverage in an inpatient pediatric psychiatric unit in Connecticut. 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, day shifts. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for pediatric and adolescent patients, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and prescriptive authority required; no call, weekend, or holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Prescriptive authority
- Active medical license in Connecticut or eligible for licensure in CT
- Inpatient psychiatry experience with pediatric/adolescent populations
- Locum tenens coverage availability for September 2026 - January 2027
