Job Summary
Provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric coverage on a 7 on/7 off schedule, managing a daily census of 10 to 15 patients within a unit average of 17. Conduct evaluations, stabilizations, and ongoing treatment for pediatric patients requiring admission, including routine follow-ups and discharges. Maintain on-site call coverage with a 20-minute response time; telepsychiatry is not permitted. Work full-time hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, supported by APPs, Residents, and Fellows. Requires a Wisconsin medical license or IMLC with prescriptive authority.
