Job Summary
Provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric coverage at a Level I facility in Michigan. On weeknights, manage coverage via telephone from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with restraint-related calls handled by the hospitalist team. On weekends and holidays, work in-house from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM followed by night call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including potential virtual consults for regional pediatric patients. An APP and attending physician support clinical operations Monday through Friday. This assignment maintains continuity of care across evenings, weekends, and holidays for pediatric patients requiring inpatient psychiatric services.
