Job Summary
Child and adolescent psychiatrist needed for 1099 locum coverage in an inpatient facility in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include daily patient rounds on approximately 15 pediatric/adolescent inpatients, comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, development of treatment plans, and medication management, collaborating with the inpatient team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Day shift, full-time (40 hours), with no on-call requirements. Location is on-site in South Carolina with an emphasis on acute psychiatric care for pediatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with licensure in SC
- prescriptive authority required
- board certification not required
- child and adolescent psychiatry expertise
- inpatient experience preferred
